Mortgage Scam One More Time
Scams are a real headache. Unless you are the scammer than you are just making money of suckers that fell victim to our evil plan. But to those who just want to know more about how to avoid scams and not scam other people, then you deserve a round of applause. It is great that you have taken a step to protect yourself against unscrupulous people. So back to the title, having mortgage payments is pretty common for most people. Having trouble paying the mortgage back is pretty common too. Where there are money problems, there are people for scammers to play their nasty scamming games on. What you need is a way to identify these scams so that you never fall for them even in your darkest hours.
Having mortgage troubles is bad enough, that means that you are already having financial troubles. Do not add anymore to your plate by getting into more trouble courtesy of the scammers that will smell blood and go in for the kill.
Have you heard of the Lease Buy Back? If not, then you have to know about it ASAP. So what is this then? Well it's just another way that scammers have though of to get your hard earned and much needed money. What they will do is they will offer to help you sell your home to another investor who will promise to lease it to you again so that you can avoid foreclosure. This is the ideal situation; the reality is much bloodier than what you would expect from the ideal situation mentioned above. Instead of the ideal situation plating out like a dream, you will most probably not be able to make the payments that the investor demands as per the terms of the contract and that investor gets to merrily walk away carrying all your property's equity with him. You didn't expect that now that did you? That is why people fall for scams. Sadly, there are those that have fallen victim to this scam.
Do not resort to getting help from these people and instead get help from the real professionals like the US HUD or the HPF.
